Rancho Pillow
All events and activities celebrating Camp Freedman will take place at Rancho Pillow. Rancho Pillow accommodates up to 28 guests in the below houses. Onsite accommodations are first come first serve.
Set among the farms and ranches of southeast Texas, Rancho Pillow is a whimsical wonderland that has been a true artistic adventure for owner and designer, Sheila Youngblood. What began as a family compound in 2006 has become a heartfelt landscape that invites all of us into a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. Poetic and playful, it's an idyllic shelter for Sheila's Latin American folk art finds, colorful architectural restorations, and collected curiosities from both wordly travels and years of hunting in her Round Top backyard.

The barn serves as Rancho Pillow's de facto great room, gathering spot and mess hall. Gracefully balancing old and new, it features a modern kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, including a gas stove and a commercial-grade one-touch espresso machine.
Two private queen bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, additional crow's nest queen bedroom, and twin day bed in the hall, provide comfortable accommodations for guests. And the barn's spacious 700 square-foot porch is a favorite gathering spot throughout the day and evening.The Barn is booked.

An air-conditioned, king-sized dreamland, the teepee is a favorite for guests who seek complete privacy and seclusion in the thick of Rancho's activities. With handpainted imagery of the Four Elements tattooed on the sheetrocked walls, this is truly a secret, sacred place for a good night's slumber. And the Rancho's Bathhouse is just a few steps away.

The Amanti suite is for lovers! The single Amanti suite features a canopied king bed, lounge, and a soaking tub in the en suite bathroom in addition to the standard walk-in shower. The porch overlooks the formal garden and is the perfect place to share a bottle of champagne after a luxurious soak in the tub. Let us know if you would like us to have a hot bath ready for you while you are out and we will prepare it for you.

The perfect suite for a romantic getaway or when three’s company. All three Grande suites feature a canopied king bed in addition to a napping room with a twin bed, seating area and en suite bathroom. The Grande Bungalows have been decorated with carefully selected and restored antiques and a variety of curiosities for guests. All rooms include flat-screen televisions, complimentary wifi, custom luxury linens, air conditioning, robes, a small refrigerator and Le Labo toiletries.

There are two Piccola rooms perfect for the travelers who need a little less space but all of the charm Hotel Lulu provides all of it’s guests. Both piccolo rooms are decorated with carefully selected antique pieces and custom furniture--this room provides two twin beds. One features two twins and the other features two double beds.

No. 1450 is a 2400 sq. ft. industrial farmhouse with custom light fixtures, reclaimed woods, as well as one of a kind vintage finds. The home includes two bedrooms and two and a half baths, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room with seating for 8, an extensive covered front porch, a full size washer/dryer, cozy bed linens, RVT bath products, central AC/heat, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV.
The house accommodates overnight stays for up to 7 guests with the following arrangements:
Master bedroom (king bed) & attached master bath - downstairs.
Loft bedroom (queen bed and 2 twins) with a half bath - upstairs.
Living Room (twin XL daybed if needed) with a full bath - downstairs.

400 sq ft and sleep up to three people, with a full bath, kitchenette, king-sized bed, and our signature twin XL daybed. Each feels very spacious, private, and has lots of sunlight. There is a wood deck in front of each cottage that connects to the larger 17’ X 17’ deck in the middle—an outdoor living area called The Cameron Lounge.
